My boyfriend and I came here for their lunch buffet. 2 stars for staff and pricing. I was really upset with the place. Because it was a whole in the wall, so I expected it to be great due to the reviews on here. Coming from Texas and having an Asian background. The food is not even all that. It was too Americanized. The frozen PF Changs at publix is better. I'm sorry. Granted the price is $7 each. I wasn't that hurt but I wanted my money back. The food tasted old, like leftovers, the chicken had a weird taste. Pretty much everything was bad. Minus the mushrooms. The mushrooms were good. And that's literally all we ate. We ate half of our plate and decided to pay and leave to eat something else. My water cup was dirty - I was able to scratch the residue off with my fingernail. After that, I was extremely ready to leave. We won't be back. If I want something other than seafood. I'll stick with frozen on a pan.

Good bang for the buck on the island and that's about it. Was there last night around 7:30 for buffet and was disappointed. Food looked old and some was dried out. Wontons missing for soup. Never re supplied the pot with wontons. I was here two years ago and the place has gone down hill. Place was Not clean. Sorry to give bad review but they were really off their game last evening. The food was great for the cost! The service was even better. It's a hole in the wall type place but we needed something other than seafood and this hit the spot. We tried 4 different meals and 3 of the 4 were quite yummy! I highly recommend this place especially if you just need something different.

Never seen this before in the 2 years we have been coming to Estero Island. Decided to try this little hole in the wall and was very pleased with the food and the service. The man who waited on us was very very friendly and was more than wanting to help. The food was some of the best I have had! It was super hot and fresh veggies. Love the general tso chicken! Definitely coming back!!!! :) (they also have free delivery)

Homemade Chinese taste! I found this place on yelp and it did not disappoint! The Hot and sour soup is THE best I have ever had! And I'm 54! So I've had my share. My wife and I both had the buffet for dinner ,a good size selection but by no means one of those 100 item places where they buy frozen egg rolls and just fry them, the egg rolls /spring rolls were obviously hand made right there and packed with pork! At $ 9.75 for the buffet including ice cream it may very well be the best restaurant value in Fort Myers Beach. It is not a fine dining experience but is good home made food. They d o have a air conditioned dining room though you may be unaware while walking in. Remember this is all about th he food!!!! Service was way above expected as well ! If your tired of seafood and burgers while on the island here is the perfect alternative!!!!!!!

My husband and I are in this Fort Myers Beach area for work business. Everyday we have to drive at least 15 - 20 mins for dining in to the restaurant we like. Every time we pass by Lin's Garden, I told myself "I am going to tell my husband to check out this place" Until yesterday, we were sick of seafood, everything deep fried. So I mentioned this place to my husband and he agreed. Yesterday, we got there early dinner. My husband and I were the first customers there. Our server, later she introduced as "Diana". (which I think she's the owner) She was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered soup as a cup first, my husband got "egg drop" and I got "wonton soup" Both of them were great. Only my wonton wrapper were too thick for my taste. Then we got "General Tso's chicken( ordered spicy but wasn't spicy enough for our taste) and Spicy mixed vegetable with fried tofu and rice. Both of them were delicious. The portion size is too big for us (I kindda noticed in FL, everything here is big) Overall, The food is great, prices are reasonable, portion size is big (for us), free parking and offer dinner time delivery. The service is friendly. If you are in this area, and craving chinese food, don't miss this place!

Not sure how we have missed this gem in all the times we have visited the area! We ate there tonight and it is now on our must-visit list. It is nothing fancy but has indoor dining room that is clean. Likewise, the buffet isn't fancy, but didn't need to be. The food stood alone, was well prepared, tasty, obviously fresh, and continually replenished. You have the option to eat from the buffet or the full menu. We chose the buffet so we could sample multiple tastes and were not disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the crab Rangoon (crispy and yummy), beef and mushrooms, and boneless spare ribs. Hubby had 2 bowls of the hot and sour soup... It was that good! The general tsos chicken was delightfully spicy and tasteful. The dessert buffet featured a variety of fresh fruits, cream puffs with a delicious whipped cream filling, and ice cream in several flavors. They also deliver in the area. They are now on our list of go-to places!

Great food! Not fancy but don't let that deter you. Awesome buffet and you can order off the menu as well. Loved the Hot and Sour soup and the homemade egg rolls. Mushrooms were great too.

A LOT of good food for the price- especially compared to the nearby offerings. Lunch and dinner buffets and you can order off the menu as well. Friendly service and my kids liked watching cartoons while they waited for the food! We ate 'til we were stuffed for dinner and paid less than half what we paid for a less than satisfying lunch at another restaurant nearby.

What a great find! Were craving a cup of soup on a rainy day, and this came up with good reviews, and buffet till 3:00. With 20 minutes, we grabbed the kids, ran out of the house and arrived at Lin's 8 minutes before the buffet was over. They offered to make up a few dishes fresh, which was a pleasant surprise. We ate till our hearts content, fantastic food, and such nice folks! The kids favorite was the teriyaki chicken sticks, and the general tso's chicken. There was one dish - chicken with onion, bell pepper in "special sauce" that was super tasty. And, then to top it all off - ice cream for desert. A fantastic bargain for lunch. Highly recommend this place!

Called for delivery last night, and firstly, the woman on the phone spoke so quickly I had to ask her to repeat 3 times before I understood what she was saying. Then, I placed my order and was told 30-45 minutes. She didn't offer a total until I asked for one, and then she replied, "Oh, about $18" That's a little vague! One hour later I called back to see where our food was, and was told it would be here soon! I told this different woman on the phone that I had been told 30-45 minutes and she argued with me, saying they would never have said 30 minutes. I said that was the least of my issues at the moment...it had now been more than an hour! She said the driver's car was full so he had to make another run. How could there not have been room for a little bag with 2 meals? When I asked if he was coming directly here, she said "no, but soon!" At that point I lost my patience and cancelled the order. Her response: "Oh, that's OK"...my response: " NO, it's NOT OK, I'm hungry and you didn't deliver" Can't comment on the food since I never got any! NEVER again!

Lin's has the best Chinese food in town. We had their new coconut shrimp tonight, which was delectable. Enjoy a fantastic meal.

Satisfactory chinese food; probably better than you would expect for a beach place. We went on Christman eve, a tradition for us.

Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Small but lots of charm. Came in towards the end of the buffet and owner personally whipped us up some of our favorites which were really tasty.

This place is your average chinese restaurant, with a few extra seafood dishes on the menu. They have free parking and offer delivery. Their prices are reasonable, good place to go when craving chinese.

Delicious! The delivery guy doesn't speak English, but he is super polite. The general tsos is really spicy but in a good way and the chop suey is AMAZING.

We went for the lunch buffet. It was one of the better Chinese buffets we have had. Each dish had its own distinct flavor. The hot and sour soup was worthy.

Our server Danny Boy was excellent. He payed close attention to us, and made sure our every need was exceeded. The restaurant is a bit divey and not fancy at all. The food is good, the dumplings specifically were great I would eat here again, based on the service, price and the food was good.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
